MULTICULTURAL BRITAIN

There are various kinds of essential value in British society. These are the belief in democracy, the role of law, tolerance, and equal treatment for all, respect to Britain and its shared heritage. That is why; it is possible for everyone to come together.

If religion and culture are different, but it gives a way to every religions and culture to live cordially together. Besides, multicultural Britain does not differ to celebrate other cultures. They encourage coming together in the peaceful environment. Moreover, multi cultural society has a duty to integrate, to be part of Britain, to be British and Asian, British and Black and British and White.

According to former prime minister of Tony Blair, A person has to be integrated and to be tolerance with other religions and cultures to become a part of multicultural Britain.

For the religious education, the national curriculam should be taken initiative for integration. According to education reform act (1988), largely, all the community school should have Christian religious education. However, it must add other different kinds of religions. Besides, faith schools teach about their own faith religion. They also teach tolerance and respect for other faiths.

The basic disadvantage of ethnic is that sometimes, they face discrimination because of their race, religion, gender and disability.

Prime Minister Tony Blair is proud because his labour party has launched anti-discrimination legislation to solve the problem of ethnic minority disadvantage.

Migrants from different religions and cultures have outstanding contribution .As a result; it is really good for Great Britain.

The British Middle Class

The number of middle class people has increased with in forty years. More than half of the population are working class. In the year of 2020, working class people will be overtaken by middle class. There is a specific wealth gap between two classes which is £ 104000.

Some different kinds of classes are also discussed in middle class Britons.

One of them is ROBs( Rich ordinary Britons). Their amount of population is 2.67 million. They consider themselves as working class. According to the wealth, they are the top fifth in Britain.

Another is HEWs (High earning lightweights) who has half a million population. They earn in excess of £ 100000 a year from their household income, but they are working class. Besides, they contribute very well for their country.

At last, SALs(Suburban Asset Lightweights) who are the 1.84 million people . They recognised themselves middle class.

According to me, these three classes are something different though they work very hard for their nation.

Employment in Britain ( SECOND ONE)

There are some policy to deal an organisation which influences on employment. These are:

First of all, an organisation should be well-planned, mutual-understanding with others , are reliable and fairly constuctive to apply their action in various levels.

At the second place, they must have an effect and complete accountibility on all areas of activity and assure officially authorized requirements.

At the concluding stage, an administration should make an effort to create a positive correlation between the employer, the employees and their legislative bodies.

There are some key issue of work in UK are also important factor for the management.

Firstly, the employment process considers differently such as between blue collar and white collar, between skilled and unskilled, manual and non-manual workers. The major issue is that social skills which are also more important in Britain. For example, caring jobs, dealing with clients and customers, organising people are the social skill levels of employment. According to the employment survey in Britain, 46 percent of employees were occupied in social skill employment. Of them, most of them are women who are 57 percent in such work.
However, the number of men are 32%.
Secondly, it unites some specialist experts or consultants who are involved with employment, and duration, repetition, suddenness as well as source differ the qualities of work. When organisations are fallen in various kinds of problems, they follow some regulation to solve the tasks and also spend much time in regular works.

On the other hand, in a specific work, less time is spent on the basis of conscious and organised plan. Besides, managerial level workers spend massive time for accounting and give explanation what they make in familiar affiliation. Moreover, substantial options are taken to be something done and also made some restrictions to consult different types of issue related to employment.

An employer has to look forward to finding out some evidence of qualification, skill and after all, experience that employees will be able to apply in a real situation.

There are clearly a number of considerations of an employee when making a decision to accept an offer to do a job.
To begin with, salary is important, but employee need to include it with other considerations such as benefits, working hours, work environment and opportunity for career development.
If the salary is not what they guess or do not get any additional benefits and chance for career mobility, then employee should be taken a right decision which they need before accepting a job.

WHAT IS ST. DAVID'S DAY ?

St David is known as dewi Saint in the welsh language. First of all, he was a church official and later he was considered as a saint and as the patron saint of Wales. A patron saint was a Christian saint who believed to give special help to a particular place, activity person or type of object. He was also a Celtic monk who lived in the sixth century and was the archbishop of Wales. He compared with the other national patron saints of the British Isles, Saints George and Andrew and also fairly a lot of information about his life. As a result, the number of churches were devoted to him in terms of showing his vast influence.

Besides, David was known throughout his life as a strong religious holy man and there were many miracle qualities or characteristics that he represented. For example, He was usually showed standing on a little hill and there was also a dove on his shoulder.

It is declared that David lived for over 100 years, and in general, it is accepted that he died in the year of 589 on tuesday First March(now St. David day) as well as he was buried in St David's Cathedral in Pembrokeshire.

St David was an important figure to the Welsh. Naturally, St David day is a time of great celebration in Wales.Commonly, people celebrate this day with special meetings and events almost everywhere in Wales.. As a matter of fact, it is taken part in a religious ceremony in first March every year and in St. David’s Hall, Cardiff; there will be a concert which is consisted of 1000 member’s male voice choir, especially for the occasion.

St. David was a patriotic who wore small, ornamental leeks and daffodils on first March to celebrate the Principality's own saint's day. The daffodil is the national flower of Wales and at present on Saint David's day, many people celebrate by wearing a daffodil.
As a consequence, now it is traditional custom to wear either a leek or a daffodil in Wales on that day. Males usually wear leeks or daffodils. On the other hand, younger girls wear their Welsh costumes which consist of a long woollen skirt, white blouse, woollen shawl and a Welsh hat.

Exploring British Newspapers

A
newspaper is a written publication which contains news, information and advertising. As a consequence, many people are able to get different kinds of news like weather news and forecasts, an advice column, critic reviews of news, plays and restaurant, editorial opinions, a gossip column,a sports column etc.

There are many different types of newspapers in the UK. After the eye-catching of these newspapers, I have found the same top story of some newspapers. One of the newspapers is known as “The Sun” .It publishes the top headline which is “Anti-freeze poisoner jailed”. Secondly, another newspaper is called “Mirror” which prints the top news “Housewife Kate Knight jailed for 30 years for poisoning husband with anti-freeze”.

However, I have got this news in a press which is named as “DAILY EXPRESS” (The world’s greatest newspaper). In fact; it reports the same news in the different page. As far as I observed that this newspaper has devoted in the approximately equal space for this story similar to “The Sun” and “Mirror”.

The main tale of this press is that Kate Knight is a housewife who murdered her husband with anti-freeze. The reason for murdering her husband is that Kate Knight planned to gain the £130,000 death benefit from her husband's employer to clear the huge debts. She spiked her husbands curry with ethylene glycol on their seventh wedding anniversary in April 2005. As a result, she was arrested in May 2005 and also sentenced to 30 years in jail.

EMPLOYMENT IN BRITAIN ( First One)

On the one hand, I think that University Education is the most important part of all students and this is the topmost place for learning perfectly in terms of getting ultimate goal. On the other hand, there are various opportunities to increase our knowledge. For example, university has learning resource centre and computing facility in which I will be able to do a lot of research about my particular area.

UK Degree is world’s recognised all over the world .There are no available opportunity to take the best education in our country, because IBA, Dhaka university, North South University are the best Bangladeshi universities where the students who are lucky and meritorious get chance there. Besides, students do politics in all the private universities .That is why, I choose to study UK to complete my education properly as soon as possible.

University education will help me to build first track career in my expected arena.Likewise,I also trust that university is the most unique institution in which students are capable to make brilliant career in the area of their interest.

I expect that my dream will be materialized into a reality after finishing university education.

Personally,I like those people who have excellent education are engaged in learning and teaching to save the world. Thus,I can
not give up education.Side by side,I wish to achieve better education that has led me to choose a university education.

As far as I consider the main different from me is that the students who did not go for university education don’t have high quality education.

I could not explain exactly what will be in ten years, but it is absolutely true that I will try my heart and soul to achieve my goal, as I will be going to study HRM. Then, I can touch my ultimate goal.

I cannot imagine my life without an education. If I do not study, my life may be unfruitful in ten years.Consequently, I will also be failed to touch my bright future.

Condition of employment is not good enough in my country. There are lots of educated people who are now unemployed .Besides, some people have higher education, but unfortunately they are not getting jobs. According to the education and skill, the government and private investors are trying to create employment opportunity across the country.

There are various levels of jobs in my country. Especially, educational people do their jobs in the office. At present, some jobs have created in the banking sectors. On the contrary, HRM has a great demand in all the sectors in our country. So after completing my master’s degree, I hope that I will be fit over there.

Health Issues in Britain

Health-care system is very important for all around the globe. The vital problem of the health care is inequality which deprives people from standard health service. There are some regional, social, economic, and ethnic inequalities in UK.

In UK, Regional variation was the most considerable in availability of medical officer and treatment, but there were some exceptional picture in the industrial areas of Northern England and Wales in the years of 1970.There were fewer and older Hospitals where few hospital beds and inadequate doctor for higher patient during that time. As a result, the mortality rate was higher in the northern regions than in the southern regions of UK.

Social class is also a major cause of inequalities health care in Britain. The people who are poor in society hit harder by major cause of death. They suffer from ill more often and they die sooner. Besides, mental health’s such as anxiety and depression as well as suicide are also higher for poorer households. In additions, adults in lower social classes are to suffer from cancers, heart disease and respiratory disease. Higher social groups have got standard of health care more than lower social groups. As a result, health inequalities have been getting worse in the last twenty years. The report of United Nation (1998) criticized the UK for being an unequal society.

From the beginning of the NHS, equitable allocation of resources, especially between regions has been a challenge for policy makers throughout its history. They also gave inadequate attention for allocating resources in any region. That is why, the Resource Working Allocation Party started evaluating regional inequalities in health and ensured an equitable distribution of resources.

Health surveys for England show that Black and minority groups generally have worse health than overall population. For example, survey commonly indicates that Black and minority such as Asian or Asian British and Black or Black British report the poorest health, but White British get better health care comperatively with minority groups.
